Ung & Min's Dance

Excerpt:

The Lamp-fish lit themselves up,

to out shine one another.

Min was rare and shy, for her kind.

Only showing her lights, when something was special.

In a secret way, Min helped Ung eat with her.

A ribbon of plastic had welded his teeth,

which she chewed to bits, so his jaws were free.

Soon, Ung, became big and vicious like his friends.

As Min swam past, she looked Ung in the eye.

Ung snapped at a space, far away from her tail.

So his friends would not know of her, keeping her safe.

Ung watched her in awe when she lit up his life.

With a quiet dance, they played a fun game. Not a mere prance,
Yet with no fame.
